If your skin isn’t sensitive, crush aspirin in water and apply before you go to bed. You could use toothpaste, tcp, vinegar etc. These all dry out the spot and get rid of it quicker.

If you have sensitive skin:
Touch it as little as possible
Every morning and night, bath your face in warm water, then cold, then pat dry. This will keep a lot of oils and dirt out of your skin.

Don’t worry about it, no matter how bad it is, it never appears as bad to others as you think. Most people go through acne, it sucks i know, i used to get so p****d off at them that i didn’t want to leave the house. I found that the less i touched my face, the better, i tried so much but not touching my face helped the most, trust me.

For the scars you can get ointments which help the tissue heal at a faster rate although they can bring back more acne. If you are really stuck you could use makeup as a last resort but its up to you.

Maria asks…

How do i get rid of these acne scars?

So in about a month i will be a senior in high school, and im going to be taking senior pictures. I DONT want these scars to be in the picture. i have acne scars on my cheeks, and im so desperate for this to go away for my senior year. i dont mind the acne as much as i do the scars. I really dont want to turn to makeup for this, im more of a natural girl that dont like to wear makeup. I love home remedies, so if you know of any, please please please let me know. i know everyone’s skin is different, so if it worked for you it might not for me, but im still willing to try.

also, nothing too expensive, im not being cheap but come on, i have a graduation gown and all that stuff to buy people ;)

Lemon Juice/Original Yogurt- take 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and original yogurt into a bowl and mix them together. Then take a Q-tip and dip into into the lemon juice/original yogurt and rub the mix onto the acne scar for a minute, leave it on for 10 minutes, then wash it off, do this twice a day.

Potatoes- Wash a potato, cut a slice of potato, take the slice and rub it around the acne scar for a couple minutes. Leave it there for 10 minutes then wash it off, do this twice a day.

Tomatoes- Boil a tomato in hot water for 10 minutes, then with a big spoon take out the tomato, mash the tomato with a fork and scoop out the seeds, rub the part of the tomato (that has no seeds on it) on the acne scar. Leave it there for 30-40 minutes, then wash it off, do this twice a day.

Drink a glass of Green Tea everyday! Green Tea has maximum strength that heals acne scars! You can buy Green Tea at drugstores and grocery stores.

Good luck<3

There are a lot of fantastic home remedies you can use. Ingredients like honey, oatmeal, sugar, fruit, yogurt, eggs, oil (olive/almond/avocado) – all of that is fantastic. I make my own exfoliating scrub out of honey and sugar, which works really well because it’s not too harsh and the sugar dissolves naturally as you rub, which prevents you from being too rough on your skin. If you use yogurt I’d suggest the most natural unprocessed yogurt you can find, free of “flavors dyes sugars etc”. Fruit (like avocado, strawberries, banana, blueberries, etc) are great too. You can mush them up with yogurt or whatever you want and make a mask for yourself.
The possibilities are endless. Another awesome ingredient I’ve recently started using on my skin is Royal Jelly (I buy it from “The Vitamin Shoppe” – it comes in a jar, mixed with wildflower honey, and it’s only like $7.00). I make facial masks/cleansers out of it but also eat one teaspoon a day. Delicious :-)
Oh and baking soda is good for your skin too. Mix it with some liquid (like water/milk/or even yogurt or even a bit of olive oil), plus a little sugar, and rub it into your skin. It’ll be super soft afterward and glow afterward.
Good luck!

Acne skin question – acne breakout question?

Hey everybody!
So I had really severe acne and I was at a dermatologist and good some microdermabrasion and it improved a lot by now. Still I have some reddish points were the big acne pimples were before and I have some scars on my forehad, but it’s not too bad, I hide it with my fringe.
About once a week I get an acne breakout at a place somewhere on my face. My question now is: What can I do against this pimple then? What’s the best thing you can do at home to get rid of it? And is there anything like a natural remedy to prevent this or work against it? Because usually I conseal my red points on the face, but these fat pimples are difficult to conseal and then they look faked. So what do you reckon? I appreciate every answer, thanks in advance,
Milan
