Does Pakistan offer laser scar removal surgery? How much does it cost if it does, and how effective is it?
I have several pockmarks, and some scars (including acne scars). I want to know how many sessions it will take to remove these blemishes, and the total cost. How effective is the treatment? Can my skin improve by atleast 50 percent? I’d like a 100 percent improvement, but I could settle for a 70. Where can I get before and after pictures of laser scar removal?

Acne scar treatments?
I’m seeing a dermatologist in a couple of weeks and want to ask about treatments for my mildly moderate scars on my face and back (bad on my back). They make me very insecure even if they aren’t as bad as some cystic acne cases. I don’t feel I have a right to complain but I can’t help feeling bad them.
What are the best treatments and what’s the cost? Can I get them on the NHS?

I know exactly how you feel, as i suffered from a bout of adult cystic acne that mysteriously came and went in one year, leaving a wake of pitted scars behind it- and i know it can make you self conscious, so dont feel bad about feeling a little sad about the issue. However, many times insurance will cover part of the cost for laser repair of scarring, so ask your derm if they have a payment plan, what insurance usualy covers for those patients,and then check your insurance company’s website to see if they cover part of the costs regularly for laser repair. (im from the u.s. So im not familiar with other countries’ health care, but im sure yours is far better than ours right now:)

Usually health insurance doesn’t cover it. I got a bonus of 1500 dollars from work and used it toward treatments for my face. I paid 1200 dollars cash and got 3 photofacial treatments along with microdermabrasions before each one. Along with chemical peels. They will work with you. They helped me out alot. But i did pay alot but got a lot in return with their generosity to me and my problems. They were great. I went to perfect skin center in mesa arizona.

Fraxel Laser Treatment for acne scars?
my dermatologist told me that my best option for minimizing the appearance of my acne scars is to have fraxel laser surgery. For 4 treatments, its going to cost me $3,600.
My derm is reputable (I see tv commercial about her clinics) and I’ve been seeing her for the past 3 years.
Should I be skeptical of this procedure? My research tells me that people has had good and bad experiences with fraxel treatments. What’s your thought?

You can give yourself a mini microdermabrasion treatment by mixing one teaspoon of baking soda with the two teaspoons of filtered water.Then gently rub the mixture on your acne scar for sixty seconds then rinse it off.
Fresh Fruits-In addition to eating fresh fruits to supply your skin with collagen building vitamin C, you can also smear them onto your face for gentle acid exfoliation. Just puree a forth a cup of pineapple and smooth it onto your face. Leave it for 10-15 minutes, then rinse. Since the pineapple contains ascorbic acid, it will impart a brightening effect on the face, and help fade acne marks.
