Acne is caused due to the wrong food habits and improper skin care. It is also caused due to hormonal changes. Another important cause is the high level of insulin produced by processed carbohydrates. This excess level of insulin creates blockage in pores and extra oil under the skin. Acne is an extreme condition of sebaceous glands. When hair follicles are plugged with Acne Marks or Scars
dead cells and sebum, acne is formed. There are many ways to eliminate acne scars at home.

The most effective means of treating acne-prone skin is to employ varying water temperatures. Washing your face with warm to hot water removes dirt, oil and makeup and opens the skin’s pores; rinsing with cool water will then shrink pores and stimulate circulation.

additional acne treatment: pumpkin.
Mix 200 grams of pumpkin pulp with 1 tablespoon of non-fat sour cream and apply it to your face. Leave it on for 20 minutes and then rinse with cool water. This will cleanse your face, open up your pores and give your skin a glow!
For another simple pimple remedy, recommends soaking a chamomile teabag in warm water, then applying the teabag to the affected area for 15 minutes. The teabag works as a warm compress and contains flavonoids and bisabolol, which have anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe the pimple and reduce redness.

acne scars problem? best answer, 10 points!!!?
i have acne scars from the past year 2 the present of 2day. i do sometimes pick @ my face, but ive stopped 4 the last month or 2
i know scars fade over a period of time, but does any1 know a good moderately cheap neutrogena, mary kay, or aveno remedy that dramatically helps acne scars?? thanx a bunch

Scar tissues go deep within your skin, so no matter how much you scrub, it wont give up. That’s why doctors say not to pick, as to prevent nasty scaring.
I’d say to try some otc derma creams at a local store. Try to treat it like a stretch mark. Jergins is a good brand, try their cocoa shea butter for stretch marks. Or even aveeno’s radiant complexion brand (sparkly, light green cover). Make sure you aren’t allergic to any of the ingredients in them, though, very important.
For now, to cover up, use foundation-liquid.
If all else fails, go to a dermatologist & ask about accutane. Also known as, isotretinoin, im using it, & you as well as others, notice the difference.
Good luck.
